If I'm not interested in the mountain or road bikes are there any other bikes for me?
There are some unusual bikes you may see on the road but won't find in a retail store unless you ask for them. Tandems, recombinants, and tricycles are all unique types of bicycles. Tandems allow more than one person to ride at the same time. Recombinants allow the cyclist to have his back perpendicular to his legs and provide the back rest. When you're on the road, carry a pump, a spare inner tube, a CO2 cartridge, a puncture repair kit, and a set of tire levers. This will allow you to get to the next bike shop in case you have a flat tire. You can purchase a small container that will ride under your seat or over your handlebars to store the items that cannot be attached to the frame.
