Bike racks

Bike racks are mounted onto the roof or trunk of your car. This space-saving utility allows you to load your bike onto the trunk or hood of your car or SUV. You can conveniently transport your bike without giving up any space inside your vehicle.

It is easier to load and unload more than one bike with rooftop bike racks. However, the increased wind resistance of having bikes on top of the vehicle will significantly lower the fuel efficiency of your vehicle. If you're concerned about today's high gas prices look into a rear loading rack.

Rear loading bike racks is not a permanent installation. It does take away access to your trunk making it a more inconvenient option. However, in addition to saving you gas money a rear loading rack is also less expensive. You will need to be particularly careful that you do not scratch the paint on your car when you take the rack off and put it back on.
